Our Members

Think of Resources and our Members as the same thing.

  • The individual and their friends and families. You may think of them as members but they are also a huge resource for our well being. Membership is free with a paid option. Information (classes, articles, etc.) is free with a paid option. Free is the focus, the paid option returns more value than any fee.
  • Those professionals that provide needed services. You may think of them as resources, which they are, but they are also valued members. Their participation is paid dues, advertising or both which is the primary funding of ECRT.

Those living in the community in addition to their family, friends and others who are close in their relationship but live outside the local community.

  • Collaboration and Building Relationships with Friends and Neighbors
      • This is perhaps the most important aspect of this site. As we get older, there’s a tendency to become isolated. Not everyone, but some of us are affected by the loss friends and family and it’s just the nature of some people.
      • Being a part of a community such as Oaks North, on the surface, helps in this regard. While ONCC does offer clubs and activities, that’s not enough. It does not bring you and your neighbor closer together. Additionally, we most likely have friends and family outside of Oak North where maintaining an ongoing relationship is critical.  In fact, some members of ONCC and ONCC itself has made it very clear that it’s their goal to keep ONCC and its members isolated.  This is sometimes the very nature of an HOA, but it’s our objective to bring everyone together.
      • On the other hand, the ECRT objective brings everyone together, those within ONCC and those outside this realm.  Need a ride to the airport or your doctor? Need help with daily activities while temporarily unable to do so, such as an injury or simple medical assistance.? As of this web update, much of this is in-processes or in the planning stage. Please continue to visit this site.
      • Mentioned above was ONCC. Remember, this is all in draft/work-in-progress form. Other communities will be included such as Swim and Tennis, Westwood and…..
      • Communication tools. We will have tools that your may already be used to, chat, text messaging, etc. however ours will be different. Commenting based on feelings or personal beliefs will not be the norm. The comment will be based on facts or suggestion based on facts. Commenting in manner that brings us closer together.
  • Information and Knowledge
      • This site will be a great resource. We will have articles, videos, live classes, online classes and webinars, home visits and more. This will be real knowledge, real information, in-depth and to the point.  Read: much more than carrot and stick information that is so prevalent on the Internet. Information with no meat to simply get you to click.
